OTR desires to see a Burundi, profoundly free from poverty and ignorance, made up of communities with sufficient means of subsistence to meet the basic needs of man in general and of women and children in particular.

OUR MISSION

Our mission is to contribute to finding sustainable solutions to the challenges of poverty in Burundi, based on the already existing socio-economic potential. We particularly help poor and less privileged communities to strengthen their capacity to find, themselves, appropriate answers to the challenges they face in their daily lives.

OTR (On Time Rescue) is a non-profit organization based in Bujumbura, Burundi, committed to empowering young people and marginalized groups through education, community development and capacity building. Since 2011, we've championed citizenship, cooperation and youth empowerment, fostering intercultural dialogue and sustainable development. Our dedicated volunteers drive our mission forward as we expand our outreach through innovative training programs and partnerships with NGOs and community stakeholders.
